It seems I'm all about Freud lately.
Odd encounter with theatrically induced male Elektra complex. Or something. I know this sounds really pervy, but it's not.
The student-written 10 minute plays are going well. For those who don't know, I'm currently in rehearsals for a short play I wrote, Tanrum, as well as a play I'm performing in written by another student, titled A Secret Between Us. I play an eleven-year-old who finds mutated grasshoppers and aliens on his farm. The guy playing my dad is an attractive (heterosexual) senior named Dan. Tonight in rehearsal, Tanya (the director) asked me to latch onto him (in the manner of a young child) during the end. Initially I was a little excited and a little awkward, which was only made worse when she told me to more or less bury my face in his chest. I was really trying to lose the awkwardness. We ran that beat several times, and I was just getting comfortable with it, really getting into the character at the moment, when I started thinking "Damn. He smells good."
Weeeeiiiiiird.

Yeeeaaah, that stuff is always kinda weird.
I think Greg and I once hooked up when we were playing mother and son in Marvin's Room.
Send me a copy of the play you wrote?
